Trainer: Kristen Montevecchio
Kristen has been riding horses for over 25 years including competitive showing on the A3 circuit in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation. Kristen spent over 10 years training and showing full time with trainer Missy Clark.
While Kristen's junior career consisted of many victories in the Junior Jumpers, her focus was on the equitation. Kristen and her equitation horse "Four Wins" had many Championships in the Medal, Maclay, and USET classes at some of the biggest horse shows. Their show school consisted of Winter Equestrian Festival (3 months), Saratoga, Ox Ridge, Old Salem, Lake Placid, Vermont, Hampton Classic, Devon, Gladstone, Port Jervis, Harrisburg, Washington, and Meadowlands.
Kristen continued showing with this busy schedule when she became an amateur. Kristen competed in the AO Jumper Divisions with Missy Clark on horses "Ringo", "Karina", "Zink", and "April Folle". Kristen with April Folle moved up and began competing in the Grand Prixs. In 1995, Kristen and April Folle won a $25,000 Grand Prix.
Kristen was also fortunate enough to spend some time training and competing with her jumper "Jack-A-Roe" with one of the top riders in the world, Beezie Madden and her husband John Madden.
All of Kristen's training with top professionals, her horse show mileage, and success has given her a great foundation to build her own business and pass on her knowledge and experience.
